Remodeling across Louisville's East End
Ten communities, each with its own houses, history and rules. From our office in Crescent Hill, we design and build throughout eastern and northeastern Jefferson County.
Where we work
Local knowledge, house by house
A 1910 Crescent Hill foursquare and a 1995 Lake Forest two-story need very different remodels, and they're reviewed by very different authorities. Knowing the housing stock tells us what's likely behind the walls. Knowing the jurisdiction tells us which city, review board or HOA will see your plans.
Choose your community below for its history, housing, the projects we do there most, and exactly how approvals work.

Frequently asked questions
Which areas does Keystone Remodeling serve?
Ten communities in eastern and northeastern Jefferson County: St. Matthews, Crescent Hill, Indian Hills, Lyndon, Hurstbourne, Anchorage, Middletown, Jeffersontown, Lake Forest and Hunting Creek in Prospect. Our office is at 184 N Ewing Ave in Crescent Hill.
Do you work outside these areas?
Our focus is these ten communities, where we know the houses and the approval processes well. If you're nearby, call (502) 509-3830 and we'll talk about your project.
Why do permits differ from one area to the next?
Jefferson County includes Louisville Metro and dozens of small cities. Some, like Jeffersontown and Prospect, handle building permits or plan review themselves; others, like St. Matthews, Hurstbourne, Anchorage and Indian Hills, add their own approvals before Metro permits. Communities such as Lake Forest add HOA review. Our permits guide explains it.
